Less than a week after being kicked off the Sooners team for taking upwards ofa few thousand dollars for a job he didn't do. Rhett Bomar is seeking a new place to play. The
Fort Worth Star-Telegram is reporting that Bomar has expressed interest in transferring to TCU. This would be a big gamble for TCU. First, will Bomar be cleared by the NCAA to play after accepting that money.
The gamble could turn out to be a good one though for the Horned Frogs. Looking at next year's depth chart, returning will only be a sophomore and a redshirt freshman. Bomar has committed a sin by taking the money but we have seen so many other players commit worse crimes like stealing and only miss a few games. So as far as the NCAA goes give the kid a second chance, he is already sitting out this season and if he really knows the wrong he did, he'll grow up and be a better man because of it. Because we all know there are no third chances.
