Four Canes' Players Suspended for the Opener

According to the Miami Herald Larry Coker has suspended four players for the season opener against in-state rival Florida State. Those players are Running back Tyrone Moss, linebacker James Bryant, Rashaun Jones, and WR Ryan Moore who is suspended for the first two games. All of the players "violated" team policy. This is a big blow to Coker who has been on the hot seat ever since the embarassing loss to LSU last year in the Peach Bowl.
