The former Houston Bowl has been rechristened the
Texas Bowl starting with this year's game. This year's game will bring together the Big XII #8 vs. the Big East #4 on December 28th. Conference USA will provide a team (if one is available) in the 2007 and 2009 seasons, with the Big East providing a team this year and in 2008. Source:
