Reports: Chris Rose to Lead Fox BCS

USA Today's Michael Hiestand is among a number of reporters this morning that claims The Best Damn Sports Show host Chris Rose will be the pre-game, halftime, and post-game host of FOX's BCS package, starting New Year's night. Rose has hosted the nightly Show on Fox Sports Network for the last few years, a nightly gabfest that is used as filler when local FSN stations are not carrying an actual game or shown after the game in some markets. FOX does not show any regular season games on the network although FSN has national deals with the Big 12 and the Pac-Ten. FOX has the rights to the Sugar, Fiesta, Orange, and the BCS Title game starting this season. No other names have been mentioned regarding play by play or analysts either in the booth or on a studio show. The network plans to be onsite for each game for pre and post-game shows. ABC has the Rose Bowl and the BCS Title Game in 2010 when the Rose Bowl gets the Title Game.
