Even though he called into a local West Virginia talkshow last week to tell everyone that he was staying with the Mountaineers for the rest of his career, he couldn't resist when Alabama actually came calling. According to

The Birmingham News, and
The Fanhouse, Rich Rodriguez has accepted an offer to become the coach that replaces Mike Shula.
Rodriguez will make over $2 million per year with incentives and will have one of the highest-paid coaching staffs in the Southeastern Conference. He is expected to sign the deal today.
