The Hampton Roads Daily Press is reporting that the former Virginia Tech quarterback Marcus Vick is being sued by a 17-year old girl who alleges that she had a relationship with him over a two year period, beginning when she was 15-years old. The young lady is seeking $6.3-million in damages from Vick, who is now an NFL player with the Miami Dolphins. The plaintiff is the same girl that had relations with Vick in 2004, when he was arrested, along with two VT teammates, for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
While at Virginia Tech, Marcus Vick had a long list of legal problems and was twice kicked off the football team. He was forced off the team last season, after leading the team to a Gator Bowl victory over Louisville in which he deliberately stomped on an opposing player's leg. After leaving Tech, he opted to enter the NFL draft, but was not selected. Since joining the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent prior to training camp, he has managed to stay out of trouble.
