After only two years as the coach at Stanford,
The Examiner is reporting that Walt Harris will be fired as Cardinal coach. The move could come as soon as the end of the big Stanford-Cal game today. This season Stanford is 1-10 and last year they weren't much better. Before coming to Stanford, Harris led Pitt to 4 bowl games, including a BCS game.
In 2005 they lost to Division 1-a UC Davis but improved as the year went on to give Notre Dame a scare at the end of the season. But this year the Cardinal's only win came a few weeks ago as they beat the Huskies 20-3, coached by former Stanford coach Ty Willingham.
