Mustain and Friends Attempt Walkout on Razorbacks

So according to the Arkansas press and the blogosphere, Mitch Mustain and friends attempted a coup in Fayetteville the past week, culminating in Damian Williams deciding to transfer, while the other players are staying for now. It seems the kids and their parents were upset with the direction of the team (because winning the West was horrible).  All the FRESHMAN (capped for a reason) were from the same hometown and were the jewels of coach Houston Nutt's class for the past season.  Along with the kids came their old head coach Gus Malzahn to OC the Hogs. Well, in spite of winning their division, the kids and their parents weren't happy in the direction of the offense (presumably not enough Mustain for Heisman press).  So they had meetings with the AD to make sure that the offense was going in the right direction.  I guess they placated them enough (by telling them to F-off), because only 1 idiot transferred, and the big pull Mustain is staying put. Maybe this is just me, but this has to be the biggest little (mild profanity) bitch move I've ever seen in college football.  Are you kidding me?  Are you that important to where your parents request a sit down with the AD?  How about you trust the coach who just led you to the SEC West crown to keep the ship going straight.  Do you really think that you can implement the crazy spread offense Malzahn ran in 1 year?  You have arguably the most dynamic running back in the NCAA in McFadden (and a damn good partner in Jones), so if they're the focus of the offense, I think that's a good thing. This is entirely bush league by the kids, but absolutely abhorrent by the parents.  Grow up people.  Your kids aren't that important.  They play a freaking game.  They're one injury away from asking high schoolers if they want fries with that.  So instead of pampering your kids and whining when it takes more than a year to get everything set up (and a very successful setup year at that), how about you act like parents and tell your kids that sometimes it takes hard work and time to achieve your goals.  Of course, I guess you could just get knocked up and luck into an All-star athlete and ride him so you don't actually have to work for your goals.  If that's your plan Arkansas parents, then congratulations.
