Les Miles Accepts Contract Extension

Written by In The Bleachers on .

Keeping in tune with coaches signing contract extensions, we have discovered that the LSU Tigers’ second year coach Les Miles has agreed to a new 5-year deal. This deal will theoretically keep Miles in Baton Rouge through 2010 and will pay him $1.65 million this year. Miles lead the Tigers to 11 wins last season with a blowout victory against the University of Miami in the Peach Bowl. That was only the third time in team history for the Tigers to win 11 games. Miles was an assistant under former LSU and now current Miami Dolphins’ coach Nick Saban.
