Arkansas to Bench Mustain?

Written by In The Bleachers on .

Despite an 8-0 record as a starter, Arkansas freshman quarterback Mitch Mustain is expected to be replaced Saturday against Tennessee by sophomore Casey Dick, who completed 11 of 19 passes for 228 yards last week at South Carolina.
Those words from the Nashville City Paper from a bottom of a notes column seem to indicate that Casey Dick has taken the job away from Mitch Mustain. While that would be almost normal for a true freshman to be replaced, the fact that Mustain has led Arkansas to the brink of the SEC West crown makes this potential switch rather bizarre. Can any of our SEC readers fill us in on why this may happen? Rotoworld has picked this up as a done deal. A strange turn in Hogville.
