Happy Valley Suddenly Sadder
The Nittany Lions will be missing their heart and soul on Saturday when they face the tenacious Temple Owls. Reports have come in stating that Ole Joe Paterno will miss only the second game of his head coaching career, as he has followed the doctors orders and staying away from the game. Depending on how the leg heals, it's possible he could be out until the bowl game, if he doesn't sprint to any more restrooms. This should have little effect on the team once they realize they're playing Temple, but you can't help but feel saddened by not seeing a 79-year old roaming the sidelines in coke bottles.
We here at ITB wish Barbaro... errr JoePa a speedy recovery.
