Jeff Bowden Takes One for the Team - Steps Down
The Miami Herald is reporting that the offensive coordinator and son of head football coach Bobby Bowden has stepped down at Florida State. Many have pressured Bobby to either step down or make some changes in his coaching staff after this disappointing year. Jeff became the offensive coordinator for the Seminoles when Mark Richt took the Georgia job in 2001. Florida State is 5-5 this year and needs one more win to become bowl eligible. Wake Forest shutout the Seminoles last week and that was the first time they were shut out in 233 games.
