Win Against BC Can't Save Coker's Job
The Hurricanes celebrated last night as they beat Boston College and became bowl eligible this year, but for their coach Larry Coker, the celebration ended early. Miami University has fired Larry Coker after a 6-6 season this year and a 59-15 record and two appearances in the national championship game.
Coker was confident last night that he was going to keep his job, but that might have been just one last push to save it. Miami had a rough season this year that included a brawl with FIU and the loss of one of their teammates, Bryan Pata.
