Hail to the Favorites

For those of you wandering around your computer to get ready for Penn State-Notre Dame and have been out today, there are very few games that are not going to form. All ranked teams are ahead, and ahead comfortably. Two featured running backs are having different days, West Virginia's Steve Slaton has 8 carres for 103 yards and two scores as WVU is all over Eastern Washington. A slow day for Auburn's Kenny Irons, 21 carries for 65 yards as the Tigers are rolling against Mississippi State. Three potential head scratchers today. Duke leads Wake Forest, 13-7 late in the the fourth quarter. UMass and Navy are deadlocked at the half at 14, while New Hampshire leads Northwestern 20-17 in the second. Akron, as well, is giving NC State fits, but trail by three in the fourth. ITB's Dr. Sak, observing the pre game festivities in South Bend from his Penn State home, tells us that the grass is long in South Bend, expect a slow track. We will see you again at the half.
