Things to do...People to see...Contests to be won

This weekend I will be making my yearly trip to the great northwest to visit a dear friend. So posting will be sparse between now and next Tuesday (unless one of the other ITB guys want to chip in...hint...hint), but in between now and next Tuesday I found some things for the readers to do. -In The Bleachers will be hosting its 2nd Annual ITB Bowl Bonanza. I have sent out invites to some bloggers and others that I thought would be interested. If you didn't receive and invite and are a blogger, or just a loyal reader please send an email to inthebleachers[at]gmail[dot]com and request one. Once again the winner will get a copy of Bruce Feldman's book Meat Market, and if we get enough contestants, I will buy two. One will go to the winner for the Blogger category and the other will go to the winner of the reader category. If you win and already have a copy of the book, we'll work something out in the prize category. Winner of the 2nd Annual ITB Bowl Bonanza gets a copy of Bruce Feldman's latest book -Unfortunately there will be no podcast going out this week but I have one all set to go out right before the first bowl game is played. It won't be previewing any games, but it will be talking about the regular season. What I need from you readers is a Top 5 list. Either email me at inthebleachers[at]gmail[dot]com or leave in the comments your Top 5 Stories of the 2007 season. They could be games, teams that did better/worse than expect, or anything else you come up with. I will give mine in the podcast and so will my guest Captain Lou. -ESPN has actually done something fun for once. Even though I am not a proponent of a playoff, ESPN has set up a webpage where you can rank your teams from 1 to 16 and have a computer decided who would win the playoff. I'm sure if I had a picture of Kate in a Penn State shirt, I'd win Big Head's contest hands down -In The Bleachers' Podcast guest Big Head is currently running a contest called the Sexy Contest. He is asking readers to submit photos of the hottest chick with sports team clothes. Since I am usually too drunk after the Penn State games to take any pictures, I don't have any to submit.
