Peterson's last rush as a Sooner was a 25-yard touchdown run in the Fiesta Bowl
After wavering back and forth, Oklahoma running back Adrian Peterson has finally decided to
submit his name into the growing pool for the April NFL Draft. There was much speculation last week that Peterson had made up his mind, but the word from his camp, and when I say camp I mean his mom, was that Peterson had not made up his mind and could possibly return to the Sooners.
In 3 seasons Peterson ran for 4,045 yards. His freshman season proved to be his best one as he set an NCAA record for rushing yards by a freshman as he rushed for 1,925 yards. He has been hampered by injuries the past two seasons. In the 2006 season he missed a number of games due to a broken collarbone.
