Operation Pick Em - Week 11 Picks

Lorena has a two game lead and hopes to keep it this week over the rest of the experts. Illinois (0%) at Ohio State (100%) -Ohio State is on a collision course with the national championship game. The Illini are having a nice season, but cannot yet stack up against the Buckeyes. – Charlie, In The Bleachers -Ohio State - The defense carried them all season, while the offense gets stronger and stronger. –Jim, Football Frontier -tOSU. Will the madness never end? – John, Bastard Sons of Pinfall Marks -Sweater Vests trounce the Zooks. OSU by 24. – Chris, In The Bleachers -Ohio State is so balanced on offense, which is really hard for a coordinator to defense. The Illini will use a lot of zone blitzes to try and confuse Boeckman. In the end the Buckeyes will be too much for Illinois to handle. – Brian, In The Bleachers - The Buckeyes march on. – Greg, Average Joe Florida State (15%) at Virginia Tech (85%) -Two offensively challenged teams, take the home team. Va. Tech. –John, Bastard Sons of Pinfall Marks -The Hokies in a close one. –Greg, Average Joe -VPI over FSU by 13. –Chris, In The Bleachers -This will be a low scoring game. Glennon has the needed confidence for a Tech win. –Brian, In The Bleachers Auburn (15%) at Georgia (85%) -The Tigers don’t have the offense to keep up with the Bulldogs. –Brian, In The Bleachers -Auburn by 11. –Chris, In The Bleachers -The Bulldogs keep on winning. Is Tuberville distracted by the talk of him moving to A&M? –Greg, Average Joe -Georgia - Here's where playing the toughest schedule among any BCS contender pays off. –Jim, Football Frontier - Which Georgia team will show up? Georgia. – John, Bastard Sons of Pinfall Marks - Does the SEC bother playing defense any more? Georgia. – Jon, Corn Nation Michigan (85%) at Wisconsin (15%) -Michigan - The Wolverines are probably looking past this game, but Wisconsin has to be deflated after taking it to Ohio State for three quarters, then getting blown out. – Jim, Football Frontier -Wisconsin is tough at home, but the Wolverines have bounced back impressively from their horrible start. – Greg, Average Joe -The battle of odd animals. Michigan by 12. –Chris, In The Bleachers -Hart is known for carrying the load, but add Henne’s decision making ability and the Wolverines can beat you through the air or on the ground. I’m not sure which they will choose, but either way the Wolverines win. –Brian, In The Bleachers Fresno State (0%) at Hawaii (100%) -Hawaii will narrowly pass their first of three tests. –Brian, In The Bleachers -The Bulldogs don't have an answer for the Warriors' passing attack. – Greg, Average Joes -Rainbows by 32. –Chris, In The Bleachers -Hawaii - Finally, an opponent not ranked in the bottom 20 in Division I-A. This could be close. –Jim, Football Frontier -It's a long way to the islands. Talk about home field advantage. Hawaii. –Jon, Corn Nation Connecticut (54%) at Cincinnati (46%) -Cincinnati! Let the overhyped dogs burn in flames! Woohooo! –John, Bastard Sons of Pinfall Marks -Connecticut - I'm sticking with the improbable Husky defense. –Jim, Football Frontier. -Cincinnati -- Two upstart, Big East programs will battle it out here. I think it will be a close one and UConn has proven a lot over the past few weeks, but I think Cincy wins at home. –Charlie, In The Bleachers - UConn by 5. –Chris, In The Bleachers - UConn tries to lock up the Big East. – Greg, Average Joe - I am tired of picking against UConn and losing. I think their defense carries them to another victory. This will set up a huge game against WVU. –Brian, In The Bleachers Arkansas (54%) at Tennessee (46%) -MCFadden with another huge game. –Greg, Average Joe -The Vols have a lot to play for, but McFadden and Jones will be too much for them to handle. –Brian, In The Bleachers -Tennessee by 6. –Chris, In The Bleachers -Arkansas -- I have a sneaky suspicion that Houston Nutt is going to close out the season with a string of wins and save his job. –Charlie, In The Bleachers USC (77%) at California (23%) -California - They've looked terrible as of late, but the G-Bears did beat Oregon on the road. –Jim, Football Frontier -USC -- This game looked a lot more exciting a month ago. – Charile, In The Bleachers -Payback time for the Bears. –Greg, Average Joes -USC by 13. –Chris, In The Bleachers -USC is a different team with Booty behind center. Cal is on a downward spiral. USC wins. –Brian, In The Bleachers Texas Tech (0%) at Texas (100%) -Both teams are banged up, but Texas will have an easier time stopping Tech than the Red Raiders will have trying to stop the 'Horns. –Greg, Average Joe -Texas by 6. –Chris, In The Bleachers -Texas - It's estimated that the quarterbacks will throw so many times that wide receivers will travel 17 miles simply walking back to the huddle during this game. –Jim, Football Frontier -Texas walks around for three quarters these days, but Texas Tech just can't win a big road game to save their life. –Jon, Corn Nation The "Experts’" Picks for This Week's Games
