Operation Pick Em - Week 4 Picks

Not many huge impact games this week, but we do have six games that on paper look like they are good games. South Carolina (0%) at LSU (100%) - Ball Coach already got his upset for the season. – Adam Nettina, Pitch Right - If this were a bar fight I would take the Gamecocks. LSU will run circles around Spurrier’s team. - Brian Sakowski, In the Bleachers -If anyone beats them this year its Spurrier but I will be conservative. – Tony, Sportsbone TV - South Carolina has played well, but I do not trust Blake Mitchell against a defense like he will see this week. - Charlie Swager, In The Bleachers - This has the potential to be an ugly game, given the defenses these teams have. There's absolutely no way I see Spurrier pulling out a win. Chris Mason, In The Bleachers -If this was a home game for them, I think the Gamecocks might have an outside shot at the upset. But since this is at Death Valley, forget about it. - Greg Gowins, Average Joe Penn State (62%) at Michigan (38%) -The misery continues at the Big House for the Wolverines. - Greg Gowins, Average Joe - PSU hasn't beaten a team that's won a game. Michigan hasn't either. - Jon Johnston, Corn Nation - Penn State will sell out against the run and make the freshman Mallet bet them. We will also see the Lions’ offense open up a little. Kickoff return AJ Wallace will take on to the Big House and PSU will win. -Brian, In the Bleachers - Is this a trap game for Penn State? Right now, Henne looks like he'll miss another game, and Mallett injected some fun into Michigan last week (albeit against Notre Dame). It will be interesting to see how he handles a pass rush, but having Mike Hart in the backfield doesn't hurt. Look for Linebacker U to stack the line and make Mallet make quick reads. I see this coming down to a late field goal, with Michigan pulling the upset. – Chris, In The Bleachers - Oh I think I smell and upset and a song!. – John, Mountainlair - I feel like Penn State is legitimately one of the top eight teams in the nation, but this is such a dangerous game for them. I would not bet a dime on this game, but I'll take Penn State's defense over an inexperienced quarterback. – Charlie, In The Bleachers Georgia (21%) at Alabama (69%) - Hey, have you heard that Alabama has a new coach? – Charlie, In The Bleachers - Saban has hooked the Tide up to the juvenation machine. – Chris, In The Bleachers. - Saban keeps the home crowd happy. Greg, Average Joe Washington (62%) at UCLA (38%) - Sandwich game for Washington or I might have called for upset. – Tony, Sportsbone TV - Another loss could cause Dorrell to be chased out of town. Look for him to be gone by the end of the year. – Chris, In The Bleachers - UCLA is a shell shocked team. Tyrone will have the Huskies ready to pounce.- Greg Gowins, Average Joe. - Query up the swan song for Dorrell. -Brian, In the Bleachers - Both these teams got dressed-down last week. UCLA had their season crushed and I think they will have a tough time getting over it (I know their fans are!). I think Washington knows that they do not need to be perfect to have a successful season and that they will take care of business on the road. –Charlie, In The Bleachers - Washington if they bother to look at the Utah tape. – John, Mountainlair Kentucky (23%) at Arkansas (77%) - Wow, two states I totally feel comfortable ragging on. – John, Mountainlair -I wish I had bought stock in Andre Woodson prior to the Louisville game. His presence and touch really impressed me and I can definitely see him becoming a solid NFL starter. Arkansas is a mess. - Charlie, In The Bleachers. - Kentucky is a good team, but I cannot see them winning two tough games in consecutive weeks. Brian, In The Bleachers - Arkansas has a much better defense than Louisville. Greg, Average Joe Iowa (17%) at Wisconsin (83%) - Wisconsin by 18. Nevermind their struggle against The Cit, but Iowa lost to Iowa State. A win here and Wisconsin could right their ship and ride to the top of the Big Ten. - Chris, In The Bleachers - Wisconsin comes to life and drills Iowa. – John, Mountainlair - Kirk Ferentz gets everyone on the same page this week. – Tony, Sportsbone TV - Jake Christianson suddenly seems like the kind of quarterback which could hold back an otherwise explosive offense. – Adam, Pitch Right - I don't trust Wisconsin or Iowa. – Charlie, In The Bleachers - Wisconsin looks to be the class of the Big 10 this season. – Greg, Average Joe
Bruce Feldman - LSU, Penn State, Alabama, Washington, Arkansas Brian Sakowski - LSU, Penn State, Alabama, Washington, Arkansas, Wisconsin Charlie Swager - LSU, Penn State, Alabama, Washington, Kentucky, Iowa Chris Mason - LSU, Michigan, Alabama, Washington, Arkansas, Wisconsin John Radcliff - LSU, Michigan, Alabama, Washington, Kentucky, Wisconsin Jon Johnston - LSU, Michigan, Alabama, Washington, Arkansas, Wisconsin Adam Nettina - LSU, Penn State, Alabama, UCLA, Kentucky, Wisconsin Mike Rizzo - LSU, Michigan, Georgia, UCLA, Arkansas, Wisconsin Jim Gindin - LSU, Michigan, Alabama, UCLA, Arkansas, Wisconsin Tony Delbusso - LSU, Penn State, Georgia, UCLA, Arkansas, Iowa Cyril Tircuit - LSU, Penn State, Georgia, Washington, Arkansas, Wisconsin Greg Gowins - LSU, Penn State, Alabama, Washington, Arkansas, Wisconsin Lorena The Dodgerchick - LSU, Penn State, Georgia, UCLA, Arkansas, Wisconsin
