Week 2 thoughts, so far
We're about halfway through week 2 right now, and certain things are starting to come into shape.
Michigan is getting run out of the Big House again, down 25-7 with 3 minutes to go in the half. Dennis Dixon and Oregon are pushing all the right buttons on offense, with the running back Stewart being an absolute beast. The Michigan faithful have lose all hope, they're done.
Make that 32-7.... Damn.
West Virginia started slow but came around at about the half to blow out Marshall. Marshall looked like a slow, indecisive West Virginia.
Cal looks like its going to take a W over Colorado State, though the game was closer than it probably should have been.
BC is up on NC State in a battle over Tom O'Brien's soul.
Oklahoma absolutely destroyed Miami in Norman. I may have to amend my Texas for Big 12 Champs thought if they can keep this level of play up.
Ohio State "struggled" for a second straight week against a poor opponent. Right now, the Big Ten looks like Wisconsin's to lose.
Clemson and Georgia Tech ran over week opponents, and right now it looks like the ACC will come down to those two and BC.
That's especially true after Wake's loss at home to Nebraska. The Huskers may have gotten lucky with a non-call on pass interference with a minute left, but they did enough to hold on against Wake. The Deacons don't look to have the good luck and magic they had last season in their run to the ACC title.
More updates later, probably once Brian is no longer drunk from the PSU-ND game.
