Where To Go and What To Expect in 2008
It's been a rough week for me, no not because my favorite conference, the Big Ten, took it in the chin in the championship game once again, but as I said before I was laid up most of the week because of the flu that has been making its rounds. I had plans to do a bowl wrap up post and much more. You all will just have to settle for the much more.
First things first, here is what to expect in the coming weeks from In The Bleachers. First I will continue to podcast, not as regularly during the season, but I have a few guests lined up that have some interesting projects going on. This weekend I have plans to verbalize my thoughts on the entire bowl season. BCS Busters has contacted me about coming on a show to talk about his latest book project. So he will be joining me. Closer to signing day, ESPN.com's Bruce Feldman is going to join me on a podcast to talk about recruiting and his book Meat Market. For that podcast I am going to set it up on Talkshoe so if anyone wants to ask Bruce questions, I can relay them to him real-time and he can answer. I can't thank Bruce enough for agreeing to come on the show. If there are any other bloggers or media members that want to come on a show just email me at inthebleachers[AT]gmail[dot]com and we can set something up.
The blog will continue to roll throughout the off season, I have no plans on quitting on you guys. My hope is that I write better and more insightful articles to drum up more comments. A running list of the juniors going pro will be posted sometime soon and updated as soon are more decide to leave the college ranks. Also, like last year I will be running a live blog the day of National Signing Day to talk about all rumors, and LOI signatures as they happen real time. Finally I hope to redo the layout a bit. That is something that I wanted to do before the 2007 season but never got around to doing.
Along with the site appearance changing, you will see a lot more CSTV logos around the blog. In The Bleachers is going to have a partnership with CSTV in the coming year. Readers will be notified of any pay per view events that CSTV is offering and they will get discounts at the CSTV fan store. In return it will help the In The Bleachers podcast because I will now have access to any and all press conferences, coaches shows, and highlights which should only make the podcast better.
Finally, I want to thank all readers of the blog and listeners of the podcast along with everyone who has contributed to the In The Bleachers site because you are what makes this blog roll!
