One Sentence Predictions: 2nd Bowl Edition
So we're into the second week of bowl fun and right now our record here at In The Bleachers is 1-2 after being let down by Fresno State and upset by the Blue Raiders and their phenomenal quarterback Dwight Dasher. 33.3% on the bowl record is far from stellar but we've got 31 games left to dig ourselves out of the hole. If this past weekend's games were a solid hors d'oeuvre then this week is setting up to be a damn tasty appetizer before our New Years Day pig out. Seven games this week spaced out between five days with Christmas day and tonight being the only "non-Bowl" days.
We don't have as awesome a name as the Beef 'O' Brady Bowl but the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl is without a doubt one of the lengthier names. A remarkably unappealing name for a game that lets two teams hang out in San Diego for a week and enjoy the weather and the scenery. Here is your second helping of bowl picks, let's hope they're a lot better than the first group.
Tuesday
MAACO Bowl Las Vegas
Wednesday
San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl
Thursday
Sheraton Hawaii Bowl
Saturday
Little Caesar's Bowl
Meineke Car Care Bowl
Emerald Bowl
Sunday
