#26: C John Estes, Hawaii
The Verdict: Still claiming there is no good reason to catch the red-eye game of the week with June Jones firmly transplanted in Dallas? Ok, so we’re just as guilty as you are for ignoring Hawaii football 95% of the time now that Jones is gone, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t still good players in Honolulu. At 6-foot-2, 298-pounds, John Estes isn’t just the best interior lineman in the conference, he may just be one of the best centers in the entire country. Remarkably athletic for his size, Estes has started an incredible 41 straight games for the Warriors, moving over to center from guard following the 2006 season. What’s incredible about Estes is that June Jones called him one of the best offensive linemen he has ever coached following Estes’ true freshmen year.
