The Verdict: One of the Mountain West's best kept secrets, Sisson is undersized even by non-BCS standards, standing just 5-foot-11 and weighing in at 203-pounds. Yet for what he lacks in ideal size, Sisson more than makes up for with an elite blend of speed, tenacity, and sheer violence of action on the field. A consensus first team Freshman All-American a season ago for the Rams, Sisson shows outstanding diagnostic ability against the run, and maintains his gap discipline with uncanny precision despite his size. He led the Rams with 105 tackles (57 solo) during the 2008 campaign, in the process totalling eight tackles for a loss and half a sack. An exceptional athlete who can match up on receivers in the slot or backs coming out of the backfield, Sisson should be one of the conference's best defenders again in 2009.
