It is here folks, we're going live at 8 am Eastern Standard Time with the best signings of the day. If you've got any news, comments or ideas drop them in the comment box and we'll be updating all day. You just hit refresh and I'll keep setting them up to knock them down.
The big overnight news, if you haven't heard, is the signing of Marcus Lattimore by the Sakerlina Gamecocks. A major victory for Spurrier and Co as he nets the nations most coveted running back.
Big surprises could come today as Seantrel Henderson (OL), Da'Rick Rogers (WR), Markeith Ambles (WR) and other big names have yet to decide where they'll enroll come summer. We'll get the news up just strap on in and ride with us!
7:49 am The first quick update comes from ACC land as the Jackets ink three before eight o' clock. Quayshawn Nealy (LB) of Lakeland, Morgan Bailey (OL) of Loganville and Jake Skole (DB) of Roswell all three stars, all destined for Atlanta.

8:11 am The Markeith Ambles announcement will be coming up at 8:30 folks. Be prepared for him to decide to go "bone on bone" with one school for the next four-five years.
Read more for the chronological re-cap of signing day!

8:17 am Tha Ringer is a great site and they're reporting that Quinton Spain (OL) is headed to WVU and Quinton Dunbar is headed to Gainesville. Washington has a great shot with Sean Parker.
8:20 am My Heels pull in Giovanni Bernard making that official.
8:22 am Not a huge get but I can't let another Felder go unnoticed. Brandon FELDER to UNC.
8:23 am Lamarcus Joyner 5 star DB is in for the Noles.
8:25 am It seems Latwan Anderson is going the Terrelle Pryor/Bryce Brown route and prolonging his recruitment.
8:27 am The Wolfpack of NCSU have four in their stable now. Two DEs from Georgia, Art Norman and Theo Rich plus OL Torian Box and Safety DJ Green.
8:30 am Awaiting this Ambles announcement.
8:32 am Mack Brown, the recruit from Georgia, is now headed to Florida. Try to keep up folks (insert bad Mack Brown from Texas to Florida joke here).
8:38 am A little late but everywhere is reporting that Jordan Hicks is in at Texas.
8:39 am The verdict is in, Ambles shuns Tennessee and UNC to head west for USC. Big signing for them tough loss for the Vols, the Heels and most of all Knoxville Radio.
8:40 am The Vols counter with a fullback Zach Fulton though.
8:42 am Chris Low the ESPN SEC Blogger has got a run down of the SEC's early action this signing day.
8:44 am Per Rivals via UMGoBlog, Terrence and Terry Talbott have got their LOI's in for the Wolverines.
8:46 am Clemson with a solid coup in netting David Beasley and Corey Crawford from UGA.
8:48 am I've been plugging along for an hour and damn I'm tired already. Breakfast is needed.
8:54 am Spencer Ware and Evan Washington are my first news from the Bayou Bengals. Thanks to Tha Ringer for dropping these gems.
9:00 am The Big Ten and Big XII are starting to wake up along with the rest of the Central Time Zone.
9:02 am James Louis the WR is headed to Columbus to play Tressel Ball.
9:03 am Dan Foose, the OT from NJ decommitted from Illinois and opted for the Noles down at Florida State.
9:07 am News from Wisconsin, they ink Cody Byers while in Tampa the Bulls sign Hans Louis and Jake Kaufman.
9:08 am Ty Linton the linebacker from Charlotte Christian signs with the Tar Heels. He's a quality ball player but temper your excitement Heels fans. He's another Donovan Tate situation, not going to be a top 15 pick but he'll be drafted high enough for it to be a problem.
9:13 am JC Copeland spurns Tennessee and heads to LSU with John Chavis. Our buddy Wes Rucker is a must follow for recruiting and all things Volunteer.
9:18 am Peniel Jean a cornerback from West Palm Beach, Florida is headed to Wisconsin? Either he can't play or Wisconsin just committed a Situation-esque robbery.
9:21 am Cameron Fordham from the Atlanta area is headed to LSU. Another good get for the Tigers.
9:29 am Matt James becomes the first notable to sign with Notre Dame this pre-lunch period.
9:30 am Here are some quick links for Tennessee, UGA, UNC, GT, NC State fans out there to see what their classes look like right now.
9:34 am UNC pulls the robbery on Sakerlina. We get 4 star recruit Sean Tapley.
9:43 am Da'Rick Rogers is a few minutes from announcing. Tennessee is the likely lean.
9:44 am Shon Coleman an elite OT has faxed his letter in to Auburn.
9:45 am So much for the Urban Meyer hiatus. Our pal Ben from the Palm Beach Post has got the Gators at 20 LOI's including their early enrollees.
9:51 am No word from Da'Rick Rogers yet, but in other apostrophe news De'Joshua Johnson is in for the Noles at WR.
9:54 am Last nights predictions are coming true as Keenan Allen is headed to California. Teams on the East Coast stare blankly.
9:58 am No surprise here as Da'Rick Rogers heads to Knoxville. He solidifies Dooley's class early.
10:03 am Lowell Galindo freaks me out with that tie and his massive head on his tiny body. Georgia is the big loser early.
10:08 am Ivan McCartney heads to WVU over The U. Miami isn't finishing very strong in this early going of it.
10:18 am Michael Dyer, a five star running back, adds to Auburns already monster class. Gene Chizik is really killing it in his first full recruiting season.
10:24 am Chrisian Jones the 27th ranked player in the ESPNU 150 selects FSU.
10:27 am Ethan Farmer is headed to UNC, big announcement coming in at 10:45 from Ego Ferguson and at 3:00pm from Seantrel Henderson.
10:31 am James Stone picks the Vols over Alabama. Vols still hanging on to a very good recruiting class.
10:40 am In Mizzou news they're already done folks. Check out the class for the CoMo Tigers. Keronte Walker, from Fayetteville, NC by way of CCSF will have an immediate impact.
10:45 am The BYU Cougars are putting together the best non-BCS class. Jake Heaps, quarterback, is the crown jewel for Mendenhall.
10:47 am Texas adds Taylor Bible a defensive tackle. They're making a push to unseat Florida as the #1 class.
10:50 am Jonathan McKnight, USC tailback Joe McKnight's little brother, will head to Arizona to play with the Wildcats.
10:55 am Joesph Byrd heads to Wake Forest. Nice under the radar signing for the Deacons.
11:00 am Clemson in with 17 guys signing today plus 2 early enrollees. Quiet day aside from the robbery committed from Georgia.
11:04 am More MWC news, BYU might be killing it with their top 25 ranked class but Utah isn't slacking as they've got 17 guys inked by 9 am MST.
11:08 am Not to steal ESPNU's thunder but isn't James Stone to Tennessee already done?
11:14 am Ronald Powell is headed to Florida. They're continuing their Urban Meyer "hiatus" breakneck pace.
11:23 am Jimbo Fisher on ESPNU talking about Clint Trickett and his recruiting class "we had to make it private because of the character issues surrounding the family." Funny.
11:29 am The guys over at Southern Pigskin analyzing classes reporting that both VaTech and Mississippi State have the most underrated classes for 2010.
11:33 am Telvin Smith, after pulling the pump fake on the radio, commits to FSU to add to the Noles haul this season.
11:34 am After the Ego Ferguson announcement we're taking a lunch break. Check us out on twitter during lunch for some updates.
11:38 am The Canes, while waiting for Ferguson commitment land a TE Asante Cleveland from California.
11:43 am Mississippi State and Rutgers are also finished with their recruiting classes for 2010.
11:45 am Prince Shembo, defensive end from Charlotte, confirms what we already knew, he's going to Notre Dame. Kid is a stud, a great get for Brian Kelly
11:50 am The Fighting Irish also land Kona Schwenke. Another good move by Kelly, he'll keep this ND class in the top 20.
11:53 am Giovanni di Poalo sings with the Trojans. Lane Kiffin, love him or hate the guy, he's a damn good recruiter.
11:54 am Ego Ferguson commitment comes down the pipes. LSU? Wasn't expecting the big man to be a Bayou Bengal. Great pick up for Les Miles.
11:57 am After that news we're grabbing a bite to eat.
12:14 pm Bjern Werner commits to Florida State. The Noles are killing it now and about to tap out for the day well embedded in the top ten.
12:17 pm Maryland is all in now too. Mississippi State, Rutgers, Georgia Tech, Mizzou among the notable schools that have already tapped out.
12:34 pm The ACC has another tapped out school, Duke wraps up its class with 20 total LOI's signed. That makes them the 4th.
12:37 pm Calvin Barnett, the big DT switches from Oklahoma State and heads to Arkansas. The Hogs 53rd ranked class just caught some elevation.
12:40 pm as Lauren Goddard points out, not a lot of news coming down from Big 10 country.
12:42 pm Utah's recruiting hopes take a hit was Ricky Heilumi signs up to become a member of the Quack Attack.
12:46 pm Apparently New Mexico hired Calvin Smith's father. Will the NCAA sniff this rule as they did in basketball?
12:48 pm Calvin Smith goes to New Mexico! Wow, what a steal for the Lobos.
12:50 pm Corey Lemonier decides to head to Auburn. He adds to Chizik's most awesome class. The guy is out recruiting Alabama, he's putting the Aubs right there in the mix with Florida and Texas on the national landscape.
12:53 pm Demar Dorsey heads to Florida State to soften the blow of losing out on two highly touted in state products.
12:56 pm Things are slowing down now as we gear up for Seantrel Henderson at 3pm and the west coast push.
1:03 pm Friend of the show, Bruce Feldman on ESPNU.
1:28 pm Demar Dorsey, getting conflicting reports now. Some say Michigan and some are saying Florida State. No official LOI from either school so we'll keep you posted.
1:43 pm Demar Dorsey is going to Michigan. After a report, a retraction and then finally the news, this Dorsey case is ridiculous and he can help Michigan a ton in the secondary.
1:47 pm OL John Cullen turns down Oklahoma, USC among others to become a Ute. The MWC has got some serious steals in their classes.
1:48 pm Ahmad Dixon, safety, is a Baylor Bear. He was a Texas commit. Will Muschamp has got to be scratching his head as they lose a recruit to a team they routinely demolish.
1:54 pm Trovon Reed a wide receiver from Thibodeaux, LA is headed to Auburn. Chizik has got a fever.
1:55 pm Still looking for the Calvin Smith dad hired rumor. Have only seen it on twitter so I'm trying to find the position and particulars.
1:58 pm Tennessee hires Boise State defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox as their defensive coordinator. Not a bad hire although he did give up a ton of points and yardage to Dooley's own LaTech squad.
2:00 pm Anger level is slowly reaching defcon five, Seantrel Henderson's announcement has moved from 3pm to 4pm and now to 5:30pm per CBS. This is ridiculous.
2:01 pm Gabe King follows pal Keenan Allen to Cal. The Bears take two of the Carolinas best.
2:04 pm Why are there no real stories coming out of the Big 10? Well take a look at their rankings from Scout (via Illinois Loyalty) PSU 7, UM 11, OSU 19, MSU 32, Wisc 33, Iowa 45, Pur 50, NU 56, Ind 57, Minn 66, Ill 69. Yuck.
2:10pm South Florida is finished recruiting. They inked a pretty respectable class considering Skip Holtz had all of ten days to lock them into the school.
2:12pm Utah has four four-star recruits. That's more than most BCS schools can claim. Great haul for the MWC.
2:14 pm Charlie Strong in his first year at the helm in Louisville inks 25 kids to put the cap on his first class.
2:19 pm Kadron Boone, WR, is headed to LSU didn't report that earlier.
2:20 pm Another non-BCS coup, the Broncos nab Jeremy Ioane from the likes of ND and Washington amongst others.
2:22 pm Auburn solidifies their class with JUCO recruit Bonomolo. Their tapped out for today, the Tigers now wait to see if anyone jumps them. Likely a top five finish for Chizik.
2:24 pm Christrian Greene making his big announcement on ESPNU at 3:30pm. FSU is the likely destination.
2:31 pm Pittsburgh's class i finalized. One of the best in the Big East but outside of the national top 15.
2:33 pm Owamagbe Odighizuwa, 17th ranked player in ESPNU 150, he chooses UCLA. Apparently he loves everyone to death. Nothing more or nothing less. He does have a solid polo game though, orange with the blue polo-man.
2:37 pm In related news Owa chose UCLA because he thinks "their academics is good."
2:46 pm Things are still slow Seantrel Henderson is opting for the show stopping commitment at 5:30 EST. Looks like most schools in the SEC, ACC, Big East are wrapping up their signings. The biggest loser today? Georgia. The Dawgs fell hard after losing Da'Rick Rogers.
2:51 pm Notre Dame wraps up their recruiting efforts. 23 signees for Brian Kelly in his first outing with the Irish. Michael James is the crown jewel of his class.
2:57 pm Early reports coming in not so good for the Big 10. Michigan, Penn State and Ohio State are absolutely killing the rest of the league in recruiting. The next few years we might see a lot of separation.
3:18 pm Chaz Green signs with the Gators to keep the gravy train rolling. Hayes Pullard, LB, signs on with the Trojans. Meanwhile Sakerlina wraps it up with 23 signees.
3:20 pm Florida is done ripping through the college football world. Green is their last signee. On to the 2011 pillage, the 2010 spring and Tebow draft posturing for the Gators.
3:22 pm Christian Thomas picks the Trojans over the Ducks. Lane Kiffin still balling out of control.
3:28 pm Wisconsin class is all in. No real surprises or monster gets.
3:30 pm Boston College makes it 21 as Spaziani finishes off his second class, first full season of recruiting.
3:36 pm Josh Shirley surprises us just a bit and decides to join Neuheisel at UCLA.
3:37 pm Christian Green, the 53rd ranked player in the ESPNU top 150 is headed to Florida State. The Noles just keep getting kids and this is proof that the Jimbo Fisher move was the right one at the time. They've got a ton of buzz and plenty of excitement surrounding the program.
3:40 pm Another bad break for the Dawgs. They just can't win for losing. On another note Syracuse is wrapping up with signing day and has a presser at 4pm.
3:49 pm Anthony Jefferson picks the UCLA over the Ducks and Wildcats. After looking average at best the Bruins are closing with a flourish.
3:53 pm As we come to close, waiting almost solely for Seantrel Henderson's big announcement around 5:30pm we can take a look at the biggest winners for today's haul. In my opinion there are two guys that stand out above the rest of the nation; Jimbo Fisher and Gene Chizik. Sure Meyer and Brown are #1 and #2 in the rankings but that is somewhat expected; Fisher and Chizik came essentially from nowhere to put together top shelf classes. Most importantly in the case of Chizik, this gives me a chance to say "I told you so" as I was an army of one in support of Chizik.
4:03 pm Folks teams are crossing their T's and dotting their I's with their classes now as Deitrich Reiley and Seantrel Henderson are the two biggest, national fish, remaining in the pond. When I get word I'll get you posted up.
4:08 pm Things are getting interesting now as folks assess their own classes. Teams are all holding their post-signing day press conference.
4:22 pm The SEC is, yet again, the winner in the recruiting national tournament. However, the Pac 10 supplants the ACC and the Big XII as the next big thing.
4:34 pm Dietrich Riley chooses UCLA over the USC and Notre Dame. Stays at home in Pasadena instead of heading across town. UCLA is really boosting their class and adding to the defensive side of the ball. Its a great haul, but the Bruins need some offense, they're really lacking on that side of the ball.
5:16 pm We're still waiting on the Seantrel Henderson announcement. I am yet again about to head into the TV room to get this ready for the word that he's going to USC (that's my own guess.)
5:26 pm Seantrel Henderson's choice is Southern Cal. Lane Kiffin does it again.
