Friday, It's So Fetch! Vol. 4

Written by Michael Felder on .

We're back with another edition of Fetch Friday and first let's recap the week, which was quite spicy in its own right. Starting out with Ja'Juan Story, the new Gator, who made my day and year with his comments. Basically he described an integral part of my life, doodoo and Katy Perry, I will support this young man for life.

Speaking of young men with my full support; Stephen Garcia is likely back for the Gamecocks following his recent graduation. If you don't like Garcia, more power to you, I like the kid. Is he the sharpest tool in the shed? Nope. Is the world's best quarterback? Not even close. Is he the best decision maker? Hells naw.

That said Garcia is a dude I truly enjoy in college football. Plenty of readers and folks on twitter have gone on and on about how he needs to be kicked off and he's such a disgrace, meh, understand please that I don't care. Garcia's a bro, perhaps it's the flowing hair or maybe just the fact that he goes so hard, either way Garcia's a dude I support and look forward to seeing in Garnett and Black for 2011.

Because let's face it; if I was his age and had elected to play at Sakerlina instead of The Carolina odds are our circles would be a massive overlapping of all that is awesome off the field.

On the Women's College Softball tip I found two more supporters to go along with myself and Billas the tournament starts up with regionals today at 5:30et. Still rolling with the Tide although I know another supporter is riding his with the Sun Devils. That's right ROLL TIDE, and we've got two more ladies along for the ride.

The on going Neiman Marcus Feud of 2011 rages on. Bastards.

Oh and in not so fetch goings on, the NCAA is back in Chapel Hill. Quinton Coples was in DC hanging out with Rob Quinn and Marvin Austin at a post-draft party. Basically this is exactly what this article from just over a month ago was about. They put the information out there now we'll see if Coples listened with regard to the whole extra benefits issue.

I'm caught between a rock in a hard place here because while none of this bothers me and I don't agree with the rules every time I say anything some asshat moron thinks it has something to do with UNC. But then again, odds are they didn't read my much of my stance on Auburn, Ohio State or anything else regarding the NCAA.

Fact is in all of this last years investigations the only thing that has irked me is the backlash and demonizing of Cam and Cecil Newton. As for the rest I think there's a tremendous difference between "right and wrong" and "against the rules" in all of this.

I'll say it now, both in the face of Stephen Garcia's return and in the NCAA situations, I don't subscribe to the holier than thou approach. I give guys the benefit of the doubt and if they screw up, oh well, take the medicine and move on.

Enjoy your Friday folks!
