Dropouts: Texas A&M Aggies, Texas Tech Red Raiders

Not a ton of movement in terms of in and out of the poll but there's plenty to talk about and now that I've had time to watch the action I missed getting my bro on in Chapel Hill. Just two Texas teams out of the poll and we see Mizzou and Georgia Tech jump back into the fray.

Texas A&M goes down to Mizzou while the Red Raiders fall into the hangover following their upset of Oklahoma by dropping the game to Iowa State. The Aggies just can't get right in their final season of Big XII play and this weekend's inability to stop Mizzou is yet another wasted opportunity for a team people thought would be pretty good this year.

Moving On Down: Clemson, Kansas State and Wisconsin are the obvious moving down. They all lost and for me this Tigers team was the biggest disappointment of the weekend. Clemson just couldn't get things going against a Georgia Tech team that was coming off back to back losses. In Kansas State our original thoughts have been confirmed as the Sooners put the beat down on the Wildcats.

Wisconsin was not as big of a surprise to me as it was on the national level, mostly because I saw some areas of opportunity for the Buckeyes and it feels pretty good to see Ohio State's defense get some help from Braxton Miller and the offense.

I also popped Virginia Tech and Stanford down a spot just for the way their games went. The Hokies struggling with Duke and Stanford looking like mortals against Southern Cal.

Moving On Up: We've got a bunch of mini-spot moves but we're gonna hit on just the big ones Oklahoma, Georgia and Houston. Oklahoma puts a beating on Kansas State and they move up. Georgia breaks the reign of the Gators and they bounce up too. Houston, my favorite little non-AQ team, puts a whooping on Rice and they get a well deserved bump into the Top 11.
