Hoot & Holler Live! Talking Pac 10

Written by Michael Felder on .

Join us for this episode of Hoot & Holler Live! as Rob Harley and Michael Felder step up to give their thoughts on the Pac 10. Michael kicks off the preview by clueing the audience in that he is, in fact, a Lane Kiffin fan and thinks the young head coach will see plenty of success at Southern Cal. From there the guys get into the nuts and bolts of the new coaches, hot seats and predictions for the coming season.

Washington State gets an unexpected amount of time as Rob recalls playing the Cougars in 2002 and the boys talk about if firing Paul Wulff is going to help or hurt the program. With another bad season the boys in Pullman, WA could be looking at plucking a retread, inexperienced head coach or sticking with Wulff for yet another year. They've got quite a problem on their hands and the days of Drew Bledsoe and Ryan Leaf success seem light years away from where they are now.

Dennis Erickson gets his due as well since he's another coach who is starting to feel the heat. The Sun Devils rivals Arizona get taken to task by Rob for losing their DC and likely lacking the defense to make a legitimate run at the Pac 10 title.

The guys wrap up the show talking a little Justified and knocking out their extremely early predictions. Rob goes with the Ducks and you'll have to listen for Michael's surprising pick for Pac 10 champion (spoiler alert: they're smart).
