After a couple weeks out of the spotlight, giving everyone else a chance to shine Rob and Michael are back to drop some knowledge on the masses. We're going to resume our spring preview series with a little Big XII chat but don't worry we won't over do it as spring ball is wrapping up and there is plenty from the last couple weeks for us to rant and rave about.
Now on to the newest issue for college football junkies to feast upon; the newest NCAA rules attempting to "clean up the game" for the good of all of college football. While the wedge block rule will largely go unnoticed and I honestly think that is a great idea and will help stop dudes like me from getting concussed on the regular during kickoff and kickoff drills.
However the mega controversy is swirling around the newest punishment for "taunting" or "showboating" during the game: calling back a touchdown for a pre-endzone celebratory act. The rule is currently vague its poorly worded and essentially leaves the decisions on what is and isn't "ok" up to the officials. In other words, this man can be deciding your fate:
