So by now you've taken the time to read our latest feature at In The Bleachers; the Positive Impact Factor. Created by our very own Pat Johnston this is a bit more technical that your's truly can explain without needing a break or an aspirin. Luckily we've got the creator and the maintainer of the PIF on staff and Pat Johnston makes his ITB Podcast debut by dropping some gold old knowledge about his baby, the Positive Impact Factor. Buckle up folks because this is an informative ride.
Pat takes us through the why and how he created this amazing statistic and then he puts it into practice with the current college football world. He hits on the leaders (Terrance Cain),some surprise highly ranked individuals (Trent Steelman) and two quarterbacks that aren't as high in the rankings as most folks would expect. Let's just say if you throw the football a lot and that includes interceptions you won't be enjoying this stat.
It will be here weekly folks and this is your guide to what all those numbers mean.
