ITB Shorts Episode 18

Written by Michael Felder on .

Today we get to talk some football on the podcast, which is always good. We hit on why I'm not too keen on Tyrann Mathieu repeating his big time success as a whole in 2012. Just a lot of moving pieces but ultimately, teams have a blueprint on how to neutralize him and I think that they will push that until something about LSU changes and depending upon Tharold Simon's performance, it may never change.

Then we hit on this whole thing:

Basically, expanding upon the idea of special doesn't mean better and in this case "special" just means different. Just because a coach is capable of riding with the up and down train of an athletic quarterback, doesn't mean he is better than his peers. Different strokes for different folks.

Oh and no, when you're a head coach who walks into a situation with a quarterback you'd never pick and don't intend on picking again; you don't get credit for that Michigan fan.
